As the sole survivor of a boating accident that killed her family at just 15, Susan Berg has just successfully completed a swim across the English Channel.

After struggling with survivor guilt in the wake of the accident, Susan crumbled towards a life of self-destruction until she barely recognised herself in the mirror. After becoming a young mother and cheating death on more than one occasion, she finally found a way to love herself and life again. We talk with Susan in this episode about how she found her way back from the brink and what led to her facing her biggest fear - the water? And why the open waters of the English Channel?
